Francesco 'Frank' D. Paola, Jr.

62, of Wakefield, RI and Boca Raton, FL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 21,2021.  He was the adored husband of Patricia (Pagano) Paola for 37 years.  Born in Providence, he was the son of Frank D. Paola of Cranston and the late Josephine (DiBona) Paola.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving sons, Frank D. Paola and his girlfriend Nicole Des Champs, John M. Paola, Michael S. Paola and his wife Gabrielle; cherished brothers Theodore W. Paola and his wife Gina, Joseph A. Paola, Sr and his wife Maryanne, and Anthony J. Paola and his husband Kevin Fish.  He is also survived by his 10 loving nieces and nephews.

A 20-year veteran of the U.S. Army and RI National Guard (2nd Lieutenant), Frank was a man who had many hobbies that included playing golf (enjoyed especially with his kids), spending time at San Remo beach in Boca Raton, and being a dedicated volunteer at the RI Foodbank.  He was known for being an extremely hard worker, a perfectionist, the sharpest dresser in the room, and a guy that never passed up a good conversation.  With his smile he could always seem to light up a room and people were drawn to him.  Most of all, Frank will be remembered for being a man that loved his family and friends more than anything and would do anything he could for those people that were closest to him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston.  Burial will be private.  VISITING HOURS will be held on Monday from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made directly to the Dana Farber Sarcoma Institute.
