80, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, June 07, 2013 surrounded by his devoted family. Francesco was the husband of Evelina M. (Placella) Riccio. Born in Prata Sannita, Italy, he was the son of the late Carmine and Carmina (Testa) Riccio. Francesco was a jewelry worker at Anson Jewelry Company and Jewel Case in Providence for thirty years before his retirement and was a long-time member of the Madonna Della Civita Society. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children Giovanni C. Riccio and his wife Linda and Maria C. Laurenza and her husband Raffaele, all of Cranston. Mr. Riccio was the beloved grandfather of Giovanni, Carmino, Angelo, Gianluca and Francesca. He was the brother of Carmelina Riccio and Rosa Pagliuca, both of Italy and the late Lucia Scuncio and Armando and Luigi Riccio. Funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St., Cranston at 10:00 a.m. VISITING HOURS: Monday 5-8 p.m. Entombment will be held at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum.
