FRANCESCO "TONY" A. CANNELLA

80, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday January 6, 2011 at RI Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Maria (Fuscone) Cannella. He was born in Itri, Italy the son of the late Domenico and Rosalba (Incecchi) Cannella. Mr. Cannella was a Supervisor for Superior Plastics Corporation. Tony enjoyed gardening, poetry and painting. He was a member of the St. Mary's Feast Society and the Sons of Italy. Besides his wife he is survived by his living children, Domenic Cannella and his wife Sandra of Scituate, Rosalba Nocera and her husband Michelangelo of Scituate. He was also the cherished grandfather of Nadia and Adriana Nocera and Domenico and Tiana Cannella and was the brother of Claudia Ciccarrelli, Agnes DeLuca, Civitina Arduini of Italy and the late Guliana Izzi. His funeral will be held on Monday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME &CREMATORY 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St. Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday 5-8 pm.
