76, of Cranston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family by her side after a brief illness, on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Parsons. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Helen (Morrissey) Ouimette.
Frances served as a registered nurse for many years, demonstrating compassion and commitment to her patients. She also spent many years working as a waitress at Tabor Franchi Post/Mike's Kitchen. In both roles, she was known for her warm smile and genuine interest in the well-being of those around her.
In her personal life, Frances found joy in the simple pleasures. She had a passion for gardening, and she also enjoyed a refreshing tall glass of white wine with ice in good company, as well as the creative outlet that cooking provided her. Her family meant everything to her.
She is survived by her loving children, William R. Lynch, Kevin O. Lynch, Joseph R. Parsons and her beloved daughter the late Bobbie Parsons. Cherished grandmother of Brittany (Jose Machado), Kamryn, Jordyn, Jaidyn, Madison Lynch, Skyler, Sydney and Alex Rivera. Adored great grandmother of Theodore Kilduff. Sister of Carol Hopkins, Frederick Ouimette, and the late William Ouimette, Alvin Ouimette, Helen Hardy, AnnMarie Oatley, Gerard Ouimette, and John Ouimette. Frances also leaves behind her loyal dog Peanut and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, September 11th, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are private.
