FRANCES (TURCHETTA) MARZILLI

89, formerly of Cranston and East Providence, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Cherry Hill Manor in Johnston. She was the wife of the late John L. Marzilli. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Allesandro and Lucia (Castrechini) Turchetta.

Mrs. Marzilli was a self-employed dress maker for over 20 years. She attended RI School of Design; and was a chorus member at St. Bartholomew's Church for 60 years.

She is survived by her loving sons, Raymond A. Marzilli and his wife Nancy of GA, Anthony J. Marzilli and his former wife Carolyn of Cranston and John D. Marzilli and his wife Elizabeth of NY; grandchildren, Tracey, Anthony, Raymond, Michael, Erin and Leah; and great-grandchildren, Gianna and Rocco. She was the sister of Lillian Moreno and Vincent Cappelluzzi, both of Johnston and the late Jean Altieri, Angela DeMarco , Joseph "Buff" Cappelluzzi, Mary, Matty, Joseph, Anthony and Salvatore DiLorenzo.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday, April 5th at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew's Church, 305 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence at 10 a.m. Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
