FRANCES M. "FANNY" (SANTANGELO) LONGO

Frances M. "Fanny" (Santangelo) Longo 94, of Simmonsville Avenue, Johnston, formerly of Pompano Beach FL, died Tuesday, February 19, 2008 surrounded by her family at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. She was the wife of the late Joseph Longo, Sr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Augustino and Angela Rose (Mastriano) Santangelo. Her life revolved around her family. She is survived by her son, Joseph Longo, Jr. of Providence and mother of the late Marlene Paolo. Mrs. Longo was the treasured grandmother of nine and the proud great-grandmother of seventeen. She was the sister of Anna Musco and Mary Cecere both of Warwick, Pasco "Pat" Santangelo of Johnston, Louis F. Santangelo of Port St. Lucie, FL and the late James, Angelina and Augustino Santangelo, Josephine Merola, Lena Scalfatti and Antonetta Ambrosino. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Knight Street, Providence.
