FRANCES R. (ROSSI) GRASSO

73, of Johnston, passed away on Tuesday January 31, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Joseph Grasso.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Lamantia) Rossi.

Frances was a lecturer for Weight Watches for 22 years, and also worked for Edward Jones Investments.

Besides her husband she was the devoted mother of Steven J. Grasso, CFP of Cranston, Suzanne M. Tassoni and her husband Robert G. of Smithfeld, Dr. Joseph S. Grasso and his wife Dr. Lina Garcia of Elgin, ILL and Jacqueline Grasso, Esq. and her husband Fausto Anguilla of Bristol; loving grandmother of R.J. Tassoni and his wife Jennifer, Amanda Tassoni and Erika Grasso. She was the dear sister of Rachel Calcagni of FL., Vencina Parenteau of Smithfield, Anna Iacono of Smithfield and Nina Pagano and her husband Richard of Glocester.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 11:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd. Johnston, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on THURSDAY from 4p.m. -8p.m. Burial will be private.
