FLORINE A. FUOCO
FLORINE A. (TELLA) FUOCO, 92, formerly of Tiffany St., Cranston, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Scalabrini Villa in North Kingstown. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph "Foto" Fuoco.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Rose (Iannuccilli) Tella.
Mrs. Fuoco was manager of the bakery department at the former Newburry's and Woolworth's in downtown Providence for 25 years, retiring in 1988. She was a communicant and former soloist at St. Rocco's Church.
She was the devoted mother of Joseph A. Fuoco of Warwick, Thomas J. Fuoco and his wife Judy of East Greenwich, and Linda R. Miale and her husband David of Johnston; loving grandmother of five; loving great-grandmother of five; and dear sister of Anna Trudeau of Millbury, MA, Viola LaChapelle of Johnston, Daniel Tella of North Providence and the late Evelyn Gesualdi and Dorothy Gelfuso.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
