FILOMENA (LOFFREDO) VENTRIGLIA

88, of Cranston, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Kent County Hospital, Warwick. She was the beloved wife of Luigi Ventriglia. They were married for sixty-two years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Clementina (DelMonico) Loffredo. Mrs. Ventriglia was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church. Besides her husband she is survived by her loving children, Gail M. Corrente and her husband Alfred of Cranston and Denis L. Ventriglia of Wilmington, NC. Filomena was the cherished grandmother of Melanie Dextradeur, Laura Wilson Ventriglia and Alexander Wilson Ventriglia and caring great-grandmother of Libby and Lola Dextradeur. She was the dear sister of Michael Loffredo of Providence, Mary Fratantuono of Warwick, Helen "Ethel" Marra of Cranston and the late Domenic, Antonio Jr., Carol, Carmella and Filomena Loffredo and Anna Connetti. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston.
