Filomena worked for the State of RI School Lunch Program for 15 years before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Rocco's Church; a member of St. Mary's Italian Cultural Society; St. Mary's Feast Society-Ladies Auxillary; Knightsville Library Association; Knightsville Seniors Club; and Cranston Senior Citizens.
She was the devoted mother of Lucille A. Frezza of Cranston, Katherine R. Manchester and her husband Robert of Scituate, Frank J. Ricci and his wife Ann of Cranston and Joanne R. Bertone and her husband Robert of Cranston; loving grandmother of Robin McCollough, Dawn Galagarza, Lynn Cabral, Kristeen Prudhomme and Joseph Frezza; loving great-grandmother of Joseph, Robert, Kyle, Ryan, Jacob and the late Tara and Tracie; and dear sister of Rose Crudale of Cranston, Dolores Pagano, Ralph Izzo, Carlo Izzo and Vincent Izzo, all of Johnston and the late Teresa Rossi and Rocco Izzo. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
