FILOMENA M. "PHYLLIS" (PINELLI) IUPPA

FILOMENA M. (PINELLI) IUPPA, "PHYLLIS" , 85, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Merino St., Providence, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Consulate Health Care of Port Charlotte. She was the beloved wife for 62 years of Angelo J. Iuppa. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Pasco Pinelli and Jennie (Lombardi) D'Antonio, and step-daughter of the late Fred D'Antonio. Besides her husband, she was the devoted mother of Barbara J. LaRoche and her husband David of Port Charlotte, FL and Beverly A. Catalano and her husband Gerry of Cranston; loving grandmother of four; loving great-grandmother of two; and dear sister of Virginia Croce of West Warwick, Stanley D'Antonio of Edgewater, FL and the late Anna Iuppa and Carlo D'Antonio. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at RI Veterans Cemetery in Exeter.
