Filomena (D'Errico) Forte 98, of Bailey Street, Cranston, died Thursday, February 21, 2008, surrounded by her family at the Elmhurst Extended Care Facility, Providence. She was the wife of the late Joseph Forte. Born in Ordona, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Leonardo and Antonetta (Favata) D'Errico. Mrs. Forte was a seamstress for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her devoted children, Dolores M. Dunn and her husband Floyd of Arrowsic, Maine, Joyce C. Wilson and her husband Raymond and Joseph D. Forte and his wife Ellen, all of Providence. Mrs. Forte was the loving grandmother of eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren. She was the great-great-grandmother of the late Jesse Martell Dunn. Mrs. Forte was the sister of the late Nicolas and John D'Errico, Ella Lombardo, Nadine Paparella, Rose Spera and Katie Colapietro. She was the mother-in-law of the late Clarence G. Dunn, Jr. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Bartholomew's Church, Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
