FILOMENA M. BERARDIS

86, of North Providence, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Miriam Hospital, Providence. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Celia (DeFelice) Berardis. Filomena was a quality inspector for the former Nyman Paper Products of Pawtucket for many years until her retirement.

Filomena was the mother of the late Noreen DiMuccio and mother-in-law of John T. DiMuccio of Chepachet. She was the cherished grandmother of Carissa M. DiMuccio of Glocester, and John T. DiMuccio, Jr. of Cumberland. Filomena was the sister of Andy, Paul, Felix, David, and Benny Berardis, and the late William Berardis, Anna Ricci, Virginia Vanner, and Elsie Addessi.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Brigid's Church, 1231 Plainfield Street, Johnston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
