69, of Cranston Street, Cranston, died Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Estrellita (Favila) Arig. They were married for forty-two years. Born in Lingayen, Philippines, he was a son of the late Matias and Brigida (Sison) Arig. Mr. Arig was a computer operator for the Bank of Boston for twenty years before his retirement. Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Alexie V. Arig, Fernando F. Arig, Dulce Cheryl Robinson and her husband Scott all of Cranston. Mr. Arig was the father of the late Angelica F. Arig. He was the cherished grandfather of Gabriella C. Arig, Brady James and Tyler Fernando Robinson. Fernando was the brother of Remedios Rabara of the Philippines, Primo Arig of Cranston, Amado Arig of the Philippines, Lydia Mamaat of Cranston, Josefina Temporal of Cranston, Helen Bandong of Cranston and the late Dominadore and Eladio Arig. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston Street, Cranston.
