Federic Russo

FEDERIC RUSSO, 95, of Cranston, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022 at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care in Providence.  He was the beloved husband for 71 years of Aline (LaPlante) Russo. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Grace (Landolfi) Russo.

Federic was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years retiring in 1987 and was a WW-II U.S. Navy veteran.  He was a devoted fan of the NY Giants and NY Yankees.

Besides his wife Aline, he was the devoted father of Joseph F. Russo of Warwick, Lorraine G. Wilby (Thomas) of Cranston, Christine M. Lasher of Warwick, and the late Michael J. Russo; cherished grandfather of Brian Wilby, Taylor Flynn (Greg) and Dylan Russo; loving great-grandfather of Connor Flynn; and dear brother of the late Grace Buell.

His funeral service and burial will be private.
