FAY (MANZO) MARTELLUCCI

Fay (Manzo) Martellucci, 88, of Abingdon, Maryland, passed away Friday, February 8, 2008 at Bel Air Health & Re-Hab in Bel Air, Maryland. Born November 1st, 1919, and from Cranston, R.I., she was the devoted mother of Beverly Tjomsland and Roberta Martellucci of Abingdon, Maryland; loving grandmother of Elisia Tjomsland,; and dear sister of Mary (Palmi) Marrese, Frank Manzo, and Rena Tavanian; and the late Joseph Manzo and Gennaro Manzo. Fay earned her cosmetology certificate, co-owned and operated a beauty shop in Cranston, Rhode Island. Upon retiring, she moved from Cranston, R.I. to Lenox, Massachusetts and lived in The Berkshires for 15 years. She moved to Bel Air, Maryland to complete her retirement with her husband, and join her daughters and granddaughter. Fay loved the Senior Center in Bel Air, Maryland. She would go to dancing and exercise classes every day, sometimes two classes a day. She loved making new friends. Funeral from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, RI, on Wednesday at 9:15 AM followed by services in Saint Ann Cemetery Chapel at 10:00 AM. Buiral will follow.
