Fannie A. (Fellela) Rave 96, of Dyer Avenue, Cranston, where she resided for the past sixty-five years, died peacefully with her loving family at her side on Saturday, December 13, 2008, at Cedar Crest Nursing Center, Cranston. She was the wife of the late August D. Rave. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Della (DeRobbio) Fellela. Mrs. Rave was the former owner of Fannie's Dry Goods and later the owner of a jewelry company, both in Providence for many years until her retirement in 1985. She enjoyed knitting, crossword puzzles and was an avid reader. She is survived by her son Raymond R. Rave and his wife Geraldine of Johnston, and was the mother of the late Anne M. Perkins. Fannie was the grandmother of six and the great-grandmother of nine. Mrs. Rave was the sister of the late Frank, Anthony "Foxy", Alfred and Henry Fellela, Madeline Eacueo, Alice Charbonneau and Nellie Rave. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
