Fannie P (Moretti) Davey

Fannie Patricia Davey (Moretti) passed away peacefully at age 85 on January 14, 2023 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence after a brief illness. She grew up in Cranston, the daughter of Anthony J. Moretti and Anna (Renzi), and sister of the late Roberta. She was married to the late Charles S. Davey for 59 years and they had three children: Carolyn and her husband Thompson McGuire, Charles Jr. and his wife Blanche, and Anthony and his wife Emily.

Fannie graduated from Saint Joseph School of Nursing in 1958 and worked in the Accident Room at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Providence for many years. Charlie and Fannie moved to Florida in 1989 and spent 30 wonderful years as snowbirds, coming back to visit friends and family every summer. Fannie was especially proud of her grandchildren, Samantha and Jason Davey and Casey and Sean McGuire.

Her visitation will be held on Saturday, January 21st from 9-10 am in the Nardolillo Funeral Home 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Service at 10am.  Burial will be private.
