EVELYN 'DEL' (SIMEONE) ZOMPA

88, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 2, 2013, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. Del was the beloved wife of the late Pasco "Pat" Zompa. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Rocco and Assunta (Pagiliaro) Simeone. She is survived by her loving children, Robert P. Zompa and his wife Nancy of Cranston, and Barbara A. Simone and her husband Robert of North Scituate. She was the cherished grandmother of Alanna Simone, Justine Simone, Amy Carney, and Sandra Zuena, and the great-grandmother of four. Del was the sister of Ida Tanury of Burbank, CA, Teresa Bianchi of Central Falls, and the late Gloria Simeone. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rocco Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Entombment will be in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted.
