EVELYN I. (PRETE) SULLIVAN

91, of Narragansett, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Colonel Richard P. Sullivan. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Gina (Ricci) Prete. She is survived by her loving daughter Elaine J. Sullivan of Narragansett; her cherished grandson Jayson Silva of Auburn, MA; her dear great-grandchildren Liam Sullivan Silva, and Ethan Gerrin Silva. She was also the sister of the late Louis A. Prete. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary, Star of the Sea, 864 Point Judith Rd., Narragansett. Burial will take place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
