Evelyn M. Riccio

88, of Johnston, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loving family on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. Born in Johnston, she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Rose Riccio. Evelyn was the loving sister of Elena Morra of CT, and the late Louise Ricci and her brother Roland Rich. Evelyn began her long career at Metropolitan Life Insurance after graduating from St. Xavier High school. She retired as a branch administrator from the West Warwick office after 45 years of dedicated services.

She was a world traveler and a beautiful and talented pianist. Evelyn enjoyed bowling, gardening, cooking and baking her famous biscuits. Her love for her family and her animals was unmeasurable.

Evelyn was the cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was also a great friend to all who knew her. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, April 27th, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
