Evelyn (Lisi) Palazzo

of Cranston, passed away on Sunday April 7, 2024, at Cherry Hill Nursing Center. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Marietta (D’Agostino) Lisi.

Evelyn started Cagney Food Service with her late husband Cagney Palazzo. Throughout the years you would see her making meatballs, Italian dishes, sandwiches, and all types of food as she enjoyed meeting customers and seeing their faces eating the delicious cuisines. Evelyn eventually went to work at Allendale Insurance as an Accountant Supervisor in the housing section of the underwriting staff for 17 years until her retirement.

Evelyn’s passion was her family and cooking. On Saturday nights she would babysit her grandchildren followed by every Sunday where she would have her children and grandchildren over for a complete Italian dinner-everything homemade of course.

Evelyn was blessed with her dog named Pasta who provided her with years of love and companionship.

Evelyn is survived by her loving children Stephen Palazzo, Paula Manzi and her husband Anthony, Gail Bochner and her husband Morris and her late daughter Joyce who passed away before the age of 1.

Her grandchildren Anthony Manzi, Michael Manzi, Marc Bochner, Stephanie Palazzo, Steven Palazzo, Ryan Ise’ and the late Lauren Ise.

Cherished great-grandchildren Emily Manzi, Charlotte Manzi, Valentina Palazzo, Chiara Palazzo, and Avayahs Palazzo.

She was the dear sister of the late Mary Caracia, Sadie Cardillo, Anthony Lisi, Frank Lisi, Joseph Lisi, Raymond Lisi and Louis Lupo.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, on Friday April 12, 2024 at 9 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Marks Church, 9 Garden Ct. Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 4pm-7pm.
