EVELYN (D'ANTUONO) MACCHIO

88, of Greenville, formerly of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Cortland Place, Greenville. She was the beloved wife of sixty-seven years to Thomas L. Macchio, Sr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Santanelli) D'Antuono. Besides her husband she is survived by her loving children, Ann Marie Morsilli and her husband Robert, Thomas Macchio, Jr. and his wife Ivana, Anthony Macchio and his wife Rosemarie, and Joanne Aucone and her husband David, all of Johnston. Evelyn was the cherished grandmother of eleven and the great-grandmother of nineteen. She was the sister of the late Michael D'Antuono. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME &Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Avenue, Providence. Entombment will be in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
