Evelyn Lombardi

99, of Narragansett passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 17, 2024. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Jennie Lombardi.

She was a proud graduate of Cranston High School.  Evelyn was employed by General Electric for more than 30 years. Fondly known as “auntie” to family and friends, she was devoted to her nephew, niece, great nieces and nephews, and her furry companion Bauer.

She was an avid New England sports fan faithfully following the Boston Red Sox and the Boston Bruins. She was an even bigger fan of her great niece and nephews, travelling near and far to watch their youth hockey games.

Evelyn was the sister of the late Thomas, Antonetta, Alfred and William Lombardi. She is survived by her nephew Robert Lombardi (Nicole) of Chelsea, MA, her niece Leslie McKnight (Kevin) of Narragansett, her great nieces Erin Flori (Stephen), Devin McKnight-West (Jordan), and her great nephews Connor and Kevin McKnight, Jr. She is also survived by her great-great nieces Emma Flori, Riley and Raegan West and her great-great nephew Stephen Flori, Jr.

Her funeral and burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
