EVELYN C. (GATTA) FARINA

86, of East View Ave. Cranston, passed away Thursday November 4, 2010 at Kent Regency in Warwick, after a short illness.

She was the former wife of the late Jack Farina.

Born in Cranston, she was the beloved daughter of the late Angelo and Clara (Giansanti) Gatta. She worked in the Accounting Department of RI Hospital for over 22 years, retiring in 1989.

She was the devoted mother of Dennis J. Farina of Melbourne, FL and Joan A. Loppi of Cranston; loving sister of Laura Gatta, Rose Lima and Angelo Gatta, Jr. all of Cranston. She leaves several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church 1525 Cranston St. Cranston at 10:00 a.m.

Entombment will be in St. Joseph's Mausoleum St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
