Evelyn P. DiSano, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 10, 2022. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Giovannina (Campopiano) DiSano.
Evelyn was a secretary for many years. She worked for Westinghouse and the office of the Secretary of State, then finally retired from the position of administrative assistant at the Governor’s Justice Commission office.
She is survived by her loving niece, Lynne A. Bigos of Lincoln, and her devoted nephews Anthony DiSano of Lincoln and Richard J. DiSano of Vermont. Evelyn was the great aunt to four nieces and four nephews, along with several great-great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Pasquale DiSano of Warwick, Anthony DiSano of Pawtucket, and Salvatore “Alfred” DiSano of Cranston, as well as nephews David DiSano and Robert DiSano, both of Warwick.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 15, 2022, at 10:00 AM in St. Bartholomew’s Church, 297 Laurel Hill Ave, Providence. Burial will be immediately following at St. Ann Cemetery. Visiting hours will be private and flowers are respectfully omitted.
