EVELYN L. (MADONNA) ASHTON

82, of Warwick passed away Tuesday November 8, 2011 at the Greenwood Nursing Home, Warwick. She was the wife of the late John Ashton. Born in Cranston she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Concetta (Pagliarini) Madonna. Evelyn was employed by the former Star Market as a cashier for many years until her retirement. She is survived by her children; Sandra Duffy of Coventry and Anthony Ashton of Deltona, FL; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was the sister of Rosalie Della Posta and Eva Ruppert both of Cranston and the late Marie Donato. Her funeral arrangements will be private.
