Evelyn M. "Lyn" (Weber) Armstrong

95, of Narragansett and Naples, FL passed away peacefully on Friday, November 12, 2021 with her husband and children by her side at the Anchor Bay Assisted Living Center. She was born in Elmhurst, LI, spent most of her growing years in Statin Island, NY and then moved to Plainfield, NJ during her high school years. She was the daughter of the late Clara (Hahr) & Walter Weber, and the sister of the late Charles Weber.
She graduated from Dean Junior College with an associates degree in Arts. In 1946, she met her roommate’s brother when he returned home from the army. In 1947, they were married and had 74 wonderful years together.
She survived 2 of her children, baby Alfred, III and daughter Lee Armstrong of Walpole, MA. She was survived by son Craig Armstrong of Dedham, MA, daughter Jill Hynes of Narragansett, RI, daughter Gail Cournoyer of Narragansett, RI, six grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
After her husband retired, they spent 30 years enjoying the warm, sunny winter weather in Naples, FL and the beautiful summer weather in Bonnet Shores, RI.
Burial will be private.
