EVA R. (DI CAPRIO) ROMANO

90, of Cranston, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2011 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Romano, Sr. Eva was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Paul and Rose (Vellucci) DiCaprio. Mrs. Romano was employed at the former Gorham's Manufacturing for many years until her retirement. Eva is survived by her children Dr. Dennis Romano and his wife Joan, Douglas Romano and his wife Gloria and Joseph "Jody" Romano, Jr. and his companion Patricia, all of Cranston. She was the sister of the late Ernie DiCaprio, Lena Coletti, Vera Izzo and Ida Castrovillari. Eva was the cherished Nana of Corisa Walker, Jena Romano and Jonathan Romano and was also the great grandmother of Adelyn Walker. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
