EVA B. (BUONANNO) MARCHETTI

100, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at the Scandinavian Home. She was the devoted wife of the late John B. Marchetti, Sr. and the daughter of the late Antonio and Luigia (Marcello) Buonanno.

Eva was a teacher in the Cranston School Department for many years and a graduate of Rhode Island College.

She was the beloved mother of Maria G. Galvin and her husband John of Middletown, RI, Elena V. Rembijas and her husband Richard of Jamestown, RI, and John B. Marchetti, Jr. and his wife Linda of Cranston, RI; grandmother of nine; and great-grandmother of six. Eva was the sister of Anilda M. Gay of FL and the late Americo, Ida, Benedetto, Aldo and Albert Buonanno.

Funeral arrangements will be private.
