EUGENE (PAPPA) SIVO

85, passed away Monday April 23, 2012. He was the husband of Carmela (Barnds) Sivo. Born in Providence he was the son of the late Antonio and Maria (Iannello) Sivo.He was employed by the former Buffington Co. of Providence as a shipper for many years until his retirement and served in the U.S. Navy during WW-II. Besides his wife he is survived by his children; Eugene Sivo of Woonsocket, Gail Sivo of Providence, Lisa Marqus of Cumberland and JoAnn Scanlon of Somerset, MA; seven grandchildren; one great grandson; he was the brother of Charlie Sivo of Cranston and the late Anna Caparco, Sarah Zulla, Margaret Paliotta, Mary Santoro, Carlo and John Sivo. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 10am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston at 11am. Burial, with Military Honors, will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Wednesday 5-8pm.
