Eugene O. Gallo, 89, of Cranston, died Thursday, July 19, 2007 at Hospice Care of RI, Philip Hulitar In-Patient Center, Providence. He was the husband of Edith (Carnevale) Gallo. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Ralph and Josephine (DeOrchis) Gallo. He was a WW-II Army Veteran. Mr. Gallo was an IRS Agent for the U.S. Treasury Department for 35 years until his retirement. He was a graduate of Classical High School, and a 1940 graduate of Providence College where he was co-class agent for the class of 1940. Besides his wife, he was the brother-in-law of Evelyn R. Pastore, Anna Carnevale, Virginia and Richard Bernard, Walter Carnevale, Vincent Carnevale and Mary Gallo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Antonette Marino, Vincent Gallo and Edmund Gallo. His funeral will be held on Monday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
