ETTA G. SHEVLIN
ETTA G. (CAVALLARO) SHEVIN, 85, of Canton St., Providence, died Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Terence P. Shevlin.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Michael and Gilda (Forchione) Cavallaro, she was a lifelong Providence resident.
Etta worked in the Accounting Department at the former Shepard's Department Store in Downtown Providence for many years, before retiring.
She was the dear sister of the late B. Albert Cavallaro and Evelyn Cavallaro, and loving niece of the late Rose Cavallaro.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Sacrament Church, 179 Academy Ave., Providence at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
VISITING HOURS FRIDAY MORNING 8-9 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Blessed Sacrament Church, 239 Regent Ave., Providence, RI 02908.
