86, formerly of Warwick and Swansea, MA., passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012, at Holden Rehab & Nursing Center in Holden, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Vigneau. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Emma (Salisbury) Bedard. Ethel was a longtime volunteer and board member of the J. Arthur Trudeau Center in Warwick.
She was the devoted mother of Edward J. Vigneau and his wife Judy Greene of Huntington Station, NY, Linda M. Miller of Attleboro, MA, David A. Vigneau of Johnston, and Paul A. Vigneau and his wife Diane of Worcester, MA.
She was the loving grandmother of Jane Miller of Rehoboth, MA, Ted, Kate and James Vigneau of Huntington Station, NY and Paul Vigneau Jr, of Worcester; and dear sister of Barbara Jackson of Cranston, Carol Iacobbo of Scituate and the late Theresa Bussius, Arthur, Frederick and Edward Bedard.
Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann's Church, 1493 Cranston St. Cranston at 10 a.m.
Interment will be at St. Ann's Cemetery in Cranston.
Visiting hours are Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
