ETHEL C. (FOUNTAIN) PALIAN, RN

87, of Judge St., Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Brentwood Nursing Home in Warwick. She was the beloved wife for 54 years of Armenag "Armen" Palian. Born in Greenville, GA, she was the daughter of the late W.C. and Elvie (Reese) Fountain.

Ethel was a graduate of Piedmont School of Nursing in Atlanta, GA. and was a registered nurse at the VA Hospitals in Augusta, GA and Baltimore, MD.

Besides her husband, she was the devoted mother of Lt. Col. (U.S. Army) Linda S. Gowenlock and her husband David of Dupont, WA; and loving grandmother of Caitlin and Erin Gowenlock.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday, October at 10 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence, followed by interment at RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
