ESTHER (MARIORENZI) REAVEY

87, of Providence passed away on Saturday March 13, 2021 at Steere House in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late John H. Reavey.

Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Tomaso and Irmenia (Pacasassi) Mariorenzi. Esther was a kitchen assistant for the Providence School Department for many years before retiring.

She was the devoted mother of John Reavey, Jr. and his wife Ruth, Thomas Reavey, Mary Gendreau, Joyce Lancellotti and her husband William and Carole Reavey; loving grandmother of seven and loving great-grandmother of three. She was the dear sister of Anna Fredette, John Mariorenzi, Nora D’Amico, Betty Sullivan and the late Philly Notarianni, Biagio Mariorenzi and Mary Graham.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church 901 Atwells Ave. Providence (limited seating, social distancing and masks required) followed by burial in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
