ESTHER C. PIRIE

Esther C. (McFarren) Pirie, 82, of Simmonsville Avenue, Johnston, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at home. She was the wife of the late Andrew Pirie. Born in Ayrshire, Scotland, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Ann (Campbell) McFarren. Mrs. Pirie settled into Johnston 50 years ago. Mrs. Pirie is survived by one son, Andrew Pirie of Glocester. She was the mother of the late Angela Pirie. She was also the sister of the late Mae Harvey, Ann Michie, Robert, David, William and Thomas McFarren. Her funeral and burial will be private.
