ERNEST D. DELMONICO, CAPT.CPD, RET.

86, passed away Tuesday February 7, 2012. He was the husband of Anna (Bruno) Delmonico. Born in Providence he was the son of the late Marco and Louise (Castaldi) Delmonico. He was employed with the Cranston Police Dept. for 34 years until retiring. He was a WW-2 Army Veteran. Besides his wife he is survived by his children Ann Flanagan and her husband Peter of Cranston, Ernest A. Delmonico, CFD Ret. and his wife Karen of North Scituate and Lisa Okolowitcz and her husband Thomas CPD of Cranston; his grandchildren Alicia, Marissa, Joseph, Allison, Torie and Tarah; he was the brother of Evelyn Wardrip of Cranston and the late Angie Valle, Gloria Amitrano, Edmund, Frank, Vito and Armando Delmonico.His funeral will be held on Friday at 9:45am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston at 11am.
