87, formerly of Melbourne, Fl passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at South County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, No. Kingstown. He was the husband of Mary (Alesio) Marinaro. He was born in Providence a son of the late Vincent and Frances (Marinaro) Marinaro. Mr. Marinaro was the Vice President of the former Metal Art Buckle Co in Providence. He was a WW II Army Veteran and a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3746, VFW Post 4206 both in Melbourne and the DAV Chapter 32 in FL. Besides his wife he is survived by his sons, Ernest Marinaro Jr. and his wife Elaine of Narragansett and Robert D. Marinaro of St. Johns, ID. He was the grandfather of Mark V. Marinaro of Smithfield and Lindsay Marinaro of Pawtucket and brother of the late Gus Marinaro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10am in St Mary, Star of the Sea Church, 864 Point Judith Rd., Narragansett. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Interment, with Military Honors, will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
