59, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019 at RI Hospital. He was born in Providence, RI to Lorenzo and Benedetta (Varone) Aceto. He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Ann Aceto, and his five children, Maria, Elisabetta, Lorenzo, Donato and Luca Aceto and was a proud grandfather to Angelo, Adalino, Lorenzo, Isabella, Serafina, Emiliana and Cecilia. He is also survived by his brother Mario Aceto, and his four sisters Pat Messore, Maria Anthony, Nancy Souza, and Elena Meresi.
He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He owned Alba Construction and was a member of the Narragansett Gun Club.
A beautiful summary of Luca’s life: He dreamed big and worked hard. He wanted everyone to be happy and always had a smile on his face.
A special thank you to Dr. Ariel Birnbaum who provided loving care to Luca throughout this journey.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday, April 24th at 8:45 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Entombment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery Mausoleum, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Tuesday, April 23rd from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may made to: Lifespan Cancer Institute, Development Office, PO Box H, Providence, RI 02903.
