Emma (Carosi) Porreca

82, of Kent View Dr., Scituate, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at Kent County Hospital, Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent Porreca, Jr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Angelina (D'Agostino) Carosi. Emma loved cooking and crocheting. She is survived by her 3 children; Vincent Porreca and Donna Marie Santoro of Warwick and Marie Harrison of Scituate with whom she resided. Emma was the grandmother of Stephanie Baldassi of MA, Melanie Porreca of Warwick, William Harrison, Jr. of CT, Kayla, Michael and Briana Harrison of Scituate. She was the sister of the late Augusto, Albert, Pasquale Carosi and Mary Tamburrino. Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:00am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Avenue Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston Street, Cranston at 10:00am. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday 4-7pm.
