Emma (Conforti) Guerriero

92, of Cranston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Brentwood Nursing Home in Warwick.  She was the beloved wife of the late Guerino Guerriero.  Born in Fuscaldo, Calabria, Italy, Emma was the daughter of the late Saverio and Carmina (Osso) Conforti.

Emma enjoyed gardening and cooking authentic recipes from Calabria.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.  She had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving children, Demetrio Guerriero and his wife Maria of Warwick, Fioramante Guerriero and his wife Cynthia of Johnston, and Maria Sanda and her husband Michael of Warwick.  Emma was the cherished grandmother of Marcus Guerriero and his wife Rebecca, Matthew Guerriero, Daniel Guerriero and his fiancée Nichole, Michael Guerriero and his wife Brittany, Danielle Sanda, and Kevin Sanda.  She was the great-grandmother of Liliana, Salvatore, Elena, and Daniel Jr.  Emma was the dear sister of the late Domenica Adelina Vilardo and Santo Conforti.

Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, on Friday at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew’s Church, Cranston at 11 a.m.  Visiting hours are on Friday MORNING from 9-10 a.m.  MASKS ARE REQUIRED. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, RI Chapter, 245 Waterman St #306, Providence, RI 02906.
