Emma (Ambartsumian) Bagdasarian

EMMA (AMBARTSUMIAN) BAGDASARIAN, 91, of Providence, passed away Easter Sunday, April 9 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was the beloved wife of the late Apres Bagdasarian.  Born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Varsenik (Lalayants) Ambartsumian.

Emma was the manager of a school cafeteria in the USSR before coming to the U.S.

She was the devoted mother of Eduard Bagdasarian and his wife Marina of Moscow and Garen Bagdasarian and his wife Irina of North Providence; cherished grandmother of Emiliya, Elina, Arsen, Marina, Anna and David; loving great-grandmother of Maria; and dear sister of the late Saida, Arkadiy, Elya, Sergey and Vladik.

VISITING HOURS are Saturday Morning April 15th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, with a Funeral Service at 11 a.m., followed by burial at North Burial Ground, Providence.
