EMILIE T. SIRAVO
97, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 21, 2013 at Kent Regency Healthcare Center, Warwick. Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Pauline (Palumbo) Siravo. Emilie was the first female Deputy Town Clerk of Johnston, and was promoted to Town Clerk in 1965. She retired in 1970 after 33 years of dutiful service.
She was the sister of William J. Siravo and his wife Carolyn of Cranston and Doris Weeden-Vettese of Portsmouth, and the late Martin and Anthony Siravo, Margaret Susi, and Mary Marinucci. Emilie is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Her funeral services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Brigid's Church, 1231 Plainfield Street, Johnston, RI 02919-6994.
