EMILE R. THEROUX

92, of North Smithfield, formerly of Cranston and Bourne, MA, passed away Monday, January 9, 2012 at St. Antoine Residence in North Smithfield. He was the beloved husband for 68 years of Anita S. (Benoit) Theroux. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Jean Baptiste and Marie L. (Phaneuf) Theroux. Mr. Theroux was a toolmaker for E.E. Weller Company in Providence for 52 years before retiring in 2000 and was a WW-II U.S. Navy veteran.

Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Raymond E. Theroux and his wife Peg of Lincoln, RI, Annette M. Biagetti and her husband Raymond of Woonsocket, RI, Robert D. Theroux and his wife Carol of Pocasset, MA, Edward J. Theroux and his wife Mary of Uxbridge, MA, Richard P. Theroux and his wife Connie of Chantilly, VA and Denise C. McCluskey and her husband Patrick of Olathe, KS; loving grandfather of ten; loving great-grandfather of seven; and dear brother of the late Jean I. Theroux and Joseph Theroux.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mark Church, Garden City, Cranston at 11 a.m. Interment with military honors will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.

VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
