Elvira "Vera" (Pizzo) Vallante

of Cranston, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Cedar Crest Nursing Center in Cranston.  She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest A. Vallante.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Ernesto and Pierina (Alviti) Pizzo.

Elvira was the devoted mother of Frances A. “Fran” Marseglia of Cranston and the late Ernest A. Vallante, Jr.; cherished grandmother of Alaina Marseglia of Cranston; loving great-grandmother of Ava Francesca Williams; and dear sister of Angelo Pizzo of Cranston and the late Concetta Palermo, Rose Marabian, Frank Pizzo and Ernest Pizzo, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday June 5th at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston, followed by burial at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Elvira’s memory to a charity of your choice.
