89, of Johnston, passed away Monday January 18, 2010 at Briarcliffe Nursing Home in Johnston. She was the wife of the late Earl E. Salisbury. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Pasco and Maria (Rastella) Lonardo. She was employed as a jewelry worker for her brother and was also an employee at Club 400 for a combined of 40 years. She lived in Deerfield, FL for 15 years until the passing of her husband. Elvira was a seamstress and also enjoyed baking. She was the sister of the late Joseph, Anthony, Pasco Jr., John and Domenic Lonardo, Carrie Parrillo and Margaret DiSano. She is survived by her sister in laws Ester and Katty Lonardo as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, Cranston at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery.
