84 of Cranston passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022 she was the beloved wife of the recently deceased Vincent E Fleming they were married for 59 years. She was born in the Federal Hill section of Providence and was the daughter of the late Antonio and Antonetta (Lepre) Scolardi. Elvira and her husband resided in the Knightsville section of Cranston since 1967. Elvira was primarily a homemaker who devoted herself to her husband and raising their two boys. While raising her family she did work at Toolcraft Inc. for a number of years. Elvira took care of the house and loved cooking and baking and great meals. She enjoyed dancing with her husband, bowling, playing card games with her sisters. Elvira enjoy traveling with her husband, vacations together as a family each summer, days at the beach, spending time with her friends and going to the casino
She is survived by her loving sons Vincent A Fleming and his wife Darlene of Johnston and Steven M Fleming of Northbridge Massachusetts; her dear sister Josie Scolardi of Providence and was also the cherished grandmother: of Nicholas, Brianna and Courtney Fleming. Elvira was also the sister of the late Della Despirito, Anna Senape, Anthony Scolardi, Teresa Ianieri and Emma Santo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10 AM in Saint Mary’s Church , Cranston. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park , Johnston.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday evening from 5 to 8 PM in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME and Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
