Elvira worked for Tacoa, Inc. as an expert in jewelry for 30 years before retiring; was a past volunteer for the RI Blind Association; and an avid NY Yankee fan. Known as an excellent baker, relatives and friends looked forward to her Saturday pies.
She was the devoted and loving mother of Judith A. Carcieri and Linda C. Carcieri with whom she lived and also her caregivers. She is also survived by her brother Michele Carcieri of North Providence and was the sister of the late Julia Marzella, Katherine Marcello, Rose Jacavone and Anthony, John and Thomas Carcieri.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St. Cranston at 10 a.m. Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m.
