ELSIE G. (VOTOLATO) PARRILLO

93, of Central Ave., Johnston passed away on Monday, June 20, 2011 at the Jane Brown Unit of R.I. Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Flore " Pop " Parrillo. She was a lifelong resident of Johnston and the daughter of the late Michael and Celia ( Marcaccio ) Votolato. Mrs. Parrillo was a member of the Johnston Senior Citizens Center and an avid Boston Red Sox Fan and also enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She is survived by her sons, Donald F. Parrillo and his wife Ruth of Johnston, David M. Parrillo and his wife Patricia of Vero Beach, FL and Dennis R. Parrillo and his wife Lucille of Johnston. Mrs. Parrillo was the mother of the late Flore " Chuck" Parrillo Jr. and Stephen " Tippy " Parrillo. She was the grandmother of David Jr., Joseph, Lisa and Michael Parrillo and great grandmother of David III and Joseph Ryan Parrillo; Lenny Jr. and Lily Curreri and the late Joshua and Stephanie Parrillo. She was the sister of the late Cosmo, Michael and Earl Votolato. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave.,Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church at 10am. VISITING HOURS THURSDAY MORNING 8-9am. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
